Simax Flat Rod - Borosilicate Flat Rod for Flameworking

Simax manufactures a line of flat borosilicate glass rods. These 1500mm long (59”) rods are available in width and height dimensions of 6mm x 3.2 mm to 38.1mm x 9.8. In Standard dimensions that is rod measuring ¼ inch wide by 1/8 inch tall to 1.5 inch wide by approximately 1/3 inch. Artist Jared DeLong has produced some stunning work utilizing this flat rod.
