The Extra-Heavy glass tubing from Simax has the thickest wall in relation to its size (other than the much smaller Capillary glass tubing). It is also available in some of the largest borosilicate tubing that we carry. The Simax Extra-Heavy is the most popular glass tubing wall thickness that we sell due to its high stability during working and the versatility of the extra thickness. This category of wall thickness in Simax is comparable to the Heavy wall made by Schott, Kimble, and Pyrex.
