These are some of the original colored borosilicate insulators that Corning used in the manufacture of CRT's - Cathode Ray Tubes. LCD screens and other developments in electronic manufacturing, including competion from Elan and Glasstronics, led Corning to discontinue their manufacturing of these colors. But these are the same colors that seeded the artistic borosilicate color market.
